Organised by Percetakan CCS Sdn Bhd (CCS Printing), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Joining is Easy 🎨
Three simple steps. That's all you need for the main drawing competition.
Draw
Create an original hand-drawn artwork based on “Malaysia Through My Eyes”. A4 or A3 is recommended.
Tell
Write around 30–80 words about your drawing and what Malaysia means to you. English, Bahasa Malaysia or 中文 is accepted.
Submit
Take a clear, well-lit photo showing the full artwork and submit it online by 29 August, 11:59 PM.

🎥 Merdeka Story Award
Already joining the drawing competition? You can also enter this optional bonus award. Your main drawing entry is complete even if you skip this.
- Record a short 30–60 second video.
- Show your submitted artwork in the video.
- Tell us: “What is Malaysia through my eyes?”
- Post it on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok.
- Tag CCS Printing and include #CCSMerdekaArt2026.
Language: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, or a natural combination of these languages is accepted.

All eligible entries will be professionally reviewed by the team from Vineyard Art & Creativity City Mall. They will select the 3 Age Category Champions, the Merdeka Story Award winner, and the People's Choice finalists.

🎨 Need Drawing Paper?
A4 or A3 is recommended. Complimentary drawing paper may be collected from Percetakan CCS Sdn Bhd on weekdays, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Please upload a clear, well-lit photo showing the full artwork. Good lighting, minimal shadows and a straight photo are highly encouraged so the judges can view it properly.

❤️ People's Choice Awards
After judging, 3 additional artworks from each age group will be shortlisted for public voting. One People's Choice winner from each category receives a Crystal Plaque + E-Certificate.
9 Finalist Posts
3 Junior, 3 Intermediate and 3 Senior finalist artworks will each receive their own official CCS Printing post.
Share Your Official Link
Each finalist's parent or guardian will receive the direct link to their child's official CCS finalist post and may share it with family, friends, teachers and schools.
Highest Valid Vote Wins
Only likes or reactions on the official CCS finalist post will be counted. Suspicious or manipulated engagement may be excluded.
Competition Rules & FAQ
The main entry is simple. These details are here if you need them.
- Open to children aged 5–15.
- Junior: 5–8 years old.
- Intermediate: 9–11 years old.
- Senior: 12–15 years old.
- A parent or guardian must submit the entry.
- Participation is free.
- The artwork must be hand-drawn by the participating child.
- Pencil, coloured pencil, crayon, marker, paint, watercolor and traditional art media are allowed.
- Digital artwork and AI-generated artwork are not allowed.
- Copied, traced or substantially adult-completed artwork may be disqualified.
- Only one drawing entry per participant.
- Incomplete, inappropriate or fraudulent entries may be rejected.
- Offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate content is not allowed.
- CCS Printing may request additional information to verify shortlisted entries.
- Suspicious or manipulated public voting may be excluded.
- The judges' decision for judged awards is final.
- Percetakan CCS Sdn Bhd reserves the right to make reasonable changes where necessary.
